Taste of Saratoga September 20th 10am to 6pm.

Sponsored by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce

The annual event known as the Saratoga Street Dance or Celebrate Saratoga, has been changed to a new name and a new format. In an effort to create an event that the residents of Saratoga would enjoy, the businesses could benefit, and the people who attended would have fun we have made some dramatic changes.

This event will be more like an art and wine festival. Art and other exhibitors will be in the center of Saratoga ¢s Big Basin Way . This was no small achievement because Big Basin Way is actually California Highway 9 and controlled by the State of California . The event will be during the day light from 10am to 6pm. People that have enjoyed the annual festival for the last 19 years will have to come earlier. The placement of the exhibitors in the center instead of the edges will help our merchants take advantage of the added traffic that will be in Saratoga .

There is music. The Taste of Saratoga will have four stages up and down the street. The stages are sponsored by some of our businesses who will enjoy additional exposure by their signage at their stage. Three of these stages will have bands to entertain the crowd. One of the stages will be our community stage. The community stage is an opportunity for our talented citizens to get the opportunity to perform at the Taste of Saratoga. If you have a talent, a band, or a really entertaining act give the chamber a call and contact our community stage chair to get included.

The food court will have some of the finest delicacies that are available. The food court will be located in the parking lot of the Saratoga Plaza . All of your favorite wineries will be represented as well. Beverages like wine, beer, and soda will be available throughout the festival.

Our local merchants will have the opportunity to get the attention of the thousands of visitors who will be attending. Many of the village shops will have additional exposure to a new group of consumers. Businesses that do not have a Big Basin address can rent booth space and provide passerby¢s with information about their companies and even get appointments for future meetings. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business to a lot of new consumers.

Space is limited. Rent your store right away to take advantage of this new opportunity. Don¢t want to move to Big Basin ? Well, booth space is very inexpensive and will provide you with the same opportunity. Contact the chamber office for more information.
